Grow fresh, safe forage greens for your turtle or tortoise with Turtle Greens – Forage Garden Mix. This carefully curated blend contains only widely accepted, turtle-safe leafy greens commonly recommended by experienced keepers and rescues for grazing plots, container gardens, and enrichment feeding.
This mix focuses on bitter, fibrous, leafy plants turtles naturally browse in the wild, making it an excellent foundation for daily forage rotation and habitat enrichment.

This mix contains a balanced blend of:
Red Stem Dandelion (Italian Chicory) – Cichorium intybus
Plantain (Boston / Broadleaf)
Chicory (Oasis)
White Dutch Clover
These greens are suitable for many turtle and tortoise species when used as supplemental forage.

SHORT PLANTING DIRECTIONS
Cichorium intybus and companion forage greens grow best in cool to mild conditions. Sow seeds shallowly (⅛–¼") in loose, well-drained soil. Keep soil consistently moist until germination. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Harvest young leaves regularly to encourage continued growth. Suitable for garden beds, raised beds, or containers.
